Introduction

Team Science Badminton was formally formed in 2009 primarily to represent the Faculty of Science, National University of Singapore (NUS) in the annual Inter-Faculty Games (IFG). Over the last three years, the team has seen the coming and going of talented badminton players, all who are pasionate for the sport and competition.

In our inaugural IFG stint in 2009, the team fought hard and was shy of 2 game points against SOC Men's Singles to qualify for semi-finals. The team, after more preparations and determination, managed to qualify for the semi-finals in 2011 and eventually settled in 4th, our prelude to greater heights in the near future.

Our mission is to create an environment to nurture the passion for badminton and good sportsmenship in our members. Through team work of passionate people, our vision is to set newer bench marks in this sport within NUS.

To achieve these, we not only recruit experienced badminton players, we hope to provide a platform for anyone who is interested in the sport. We believe firmly that everyone has room for improvements and through our weekly training, everyone will be given the opportunity to fill this room gradually.

Our team meets on a weekly basis in Prince George's Park Multi-Purpose Hall and we train using Protech tournament shuttlecocks. Our training calendar can be found here.
